Re: Harry Potter or Twilight?

I prefer Harry Potter because it has a lot of excitement and thrill in it.
Twilight is kindah predictable, but it's okay as well.

Re: Harry Potter or Twilight?

I like Harry Potter more, but I love Twilight too. They're both a great series. But of course, I've been reading Harry Potter since I was 8, and Twilight since I was 13, so... I've liked Harry a lot longer.

Re: Harry Potter or Twilight?

Harry Potter, because Twilight is a Mary-Sue fan fiction that was allowed to see the light of day sadly.

But seriously, I don't like Stephanie Meyers writing very much.

Yes! Twilight is amazing in every way, shape, and form! I have a really hard time picking which is my fave, Twilight or HP. Let's just say, they both rock!

Re: Harry Potter or Twilight?

I haven't read Twilight yet, and I don't want to, but I have watched the movie - and I also don't like it..!

I stick to Harry Potter and I'm hooked with it!
HP definitely!

Save yourself. I will never get those hours of my life back but I can still save others.

Re: Harry Potter or Twilight?

Harry Potter. No question, in my opinion. I grew up reading Harry Potter, and only read Twilight because I had no other books to read at the time. It was okay, just not my kind of book.

Re: Harry Potter or Twilight?

Harry Potter.... the only reason I read the Twilight series was because my friends wanted me too. There's no competition between the two, Harry Potter is so much better. More action, character development, and the setting is creative.

Harry Potter. There's no contest. And I also wish I could get back the hours I wasted reading Twilight

love both, but Harry Potter is a legend, even Stephanie Meyer said it.
And both stories are very different, Twilight is more about love...wich can be boring!

I have to agree.
I finally watched Twilight, last night. My daughter had been bugging me ever since she bought the DVD and so I gave in and watched it with her.
It was OK. I didn't hate it, but I didn't love it either. (Not like when I first read Harry Potter)
I will probably watch the other movies when they come out on DVD, because I won't bother going to watch them on the big screen, and I doubt whether I will ever read the books. I just didn't find it that interesting.

Hah! Yeah. My friend just told me that she has just wasted time reading the Twilight saga.. and that she wished she never read it, because HP still rocks.

Re: Harry Potter or Twilight?

I love love love Twilight.
But if I was stuck on a Island and could only bring one book series, no doubt I'd be bringing my beaten, cellotaped, crinkly paged, Harry Potter books.
