but yea Chicago had a huge(ish) blizzard last night even though we've had pretty good weather for March. Bluh.

I believe we've had a total of 5 blizzards in about 3 months haha. Each with over 40cm of snow, which is about 16 inches. We had 2 or 3 that hit the 60cm range. Overall, we've had over 450cm of snow (nearly 15 feet) this winter, with the possibility of more coming. It's the worst winter I've ever seen in my life. Normally, around this time, the sun will be melting the snow a fair bit. We might get one more storm, but it wouldn't last long. I won't be surprised if we still have snow on the ground in May this year, which is unusual.

It's been a long time DV!!!!!! How's it been going? (it took me several minutes to realize it was you on your first post it's been so long...the shock is still wearing off)

Also, that sounds rough. Since I last posted, all of our snow has melted. We should be in the 60s by next week, really looking forward to it! You should come down to the States and enjoy our also pretty sucky but less sucky weather! Weather can be strange, who knows, maybe all of your snow will be melting by next week!

Pretty well! How are you?

It is rough haha. We're having a bit warmer weather now. Between -5 and +5 C, so around 20F to 40F, with it occasionally going up to +10C (50F). At this time, that's way warmer than we've been getting, and as long as it stays above 0 (freezing), the snow will melt, which is a good thing.

I'm not doing too bad. Applying for study abroad right now, just started a new quarter at my school so I'm a bit frazzled at the moment. Apparently it's 73 right now. I actually have a window open.

It'll eventually get better. Well, at least enough to melt your snow.

That's exciting! 73 would be amazing right now. That's pretty much the ideal temperature. About 22 C.

Yep. We'll start having warmer weather by the end of this month, consistently getting into the 60s. It's funny though, at 50F I had my window open here haha. It's so far superior to the -25C to -30C we get most of the winter (-13F to -22F, or even colder on some days). It is indeed melting, but another 30 or so cm is scheduled for the next week.

So I'm attempting to re-read Harry Potter again. On book 2, lots of nostalgia! Especially about this place.

I have watched the first few episodes of the newest season. I enjoyed it enough, but since my only chance to watch the show was when I came home from school on the weekends - I fell behind.

Clara started to grow on me. Capaldi is a great actor but I had trouble warming up to him. How 'bout you?

You'll have to catch up at some point, haha.

Clara really stepped up this season, methinks. Capaldi was fantastic, imo. By the end of the season I was definitely comfortable seeing him as The Doctor. The finale was fantastic.

And speaking of TV shows, if you haven't seen Marvel's Daredevil on Netflix, you need to. That also goes for anyone else who sees this thread.

Yea, I totally plan on catching up once it's on Netflix!
