In the wonderful world of internet all comix-lovers can find many great free comics. I got addicted as soon as I discovered them!

Here are some good ones:
seraph-innTwo really amazing comics here! Inverloch (finished) and The Phoenix Requiem.
fantasy realms
The Dreamer(boys will probably not like it)
Purgatory Tower
Girl GeniusThis one's rated for teens and up, and the 1st part is black and white, but is worth mentioning.
Xylia Maybe not as good as the previous ones, but still really nice.
No Need for Bushido
The Gods of Arr-Kelaan
Fey Winds
count your sheep

Do you like webcomics?
If yes, what are your favourite webcomics?

My Dark Lord? Sorry I disturb you,

Re: Webcomics!

I like Unshelved, which is a comic about some librarians. It's pretty funny.

Re: Webcomics!

I <3 Webcomics!

Since this thread is dead, I will try to breath on its embers.

Some of my favorites are:

Questionable Content Be aware, this one gets not so family friendly at times, so keep in mind YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED! But the characters are amazing, and cute, and the art is always improving.
XKCD Yay! Nerd humor!
Penny Arcade Always a classic.
Hanna is Not a Boy's Name A new find, which I absolutely adore.

Those are the only one's I follow regularly that are any good. They all update fairly well, so that's good too.

Brought to you with help from the eternally awesome DarkLord7.

Future Ruler of the ENTIRE TRI-STATE AREA!!!! *Dramatic lightning*

I lost The Game.

Re: Webcomics!

QC utterly destroys all others. I've been following that site since its 99th comic. I still remember when there were sites where you could vote for your favorites and the rankings were actually relevant. QC was among the first to go into the "hall of fame" (i.e. it got #1 so many times they stopped letting it compete). If I were to name the greatest arcs in webcomic history, nearly all of them would be QC arcs, such as the Karaoke Wars segment, the Ultimate Faye Exposition Segment, any given Pintsize comic, and maybe a few of Hannelore's or Raven's moments. Also, the Submacopter still brings a tear to my eye.

Oh yeah, and #176. "I roll 1d20 to cast **** noob." "Your roll fails." "****. Can I make a saving LOL?"

Oh, and "Awkward Zone Defeated" remains the 2nd best single panel of all. Technically a not-as-good webcomic called Chugworth Academy once had an "Almadirro" panel that has to be #1. I assume he had seen the Discovery Channel. That, or there really is a Discovoly Channel, and it is the greatest channel ever.

The cool part to QC is that its writer and his wife & dog live entirely off it. His ad revenue and his merchandise pay for their entire life and he bought a house last year. Imagine making your entire living off doing something you love and a good part of the days free... pretty sweet. Only drawback is no pension.

Re: Webcomics!

I only recently (that is, back in the beginning of August) discovered that webcomics actually exist, by getting a link to Sam and Fuzzy from I have no idea where or maybe who. I started reading the (then) current storyline, then clicked the sign saying New Reader? Click Here!, read for a while, then thought, hmm, what if I just delete 1 5 and 3 in the adress line, will I go to comic number one? Now I'm almost finished reading through the archives. I'm so addicted, I've started reading very slowly so I won't catch up too soon.

Also, through S&F, I found Dawn Of Time Comics, I just started reading through the archive. I'm on comic 44 right now.

I'll probably find more webcomics now I know they exist, but it's a bit difficult as I'm a bit picky about art style, colour (or rather, lack of colour; too much colour is more than my eyes can take), and humour.

You get ideas from daydreaming. You get ideas from being bored. You get ideas all the time.
The only difference between writers and other people is we notice when we're doing it.

Re: Webcomics!

One more Hanna Is Not a Boy's Name fan. Gosh, the art style...it's beautiful. And the story.

Boxer Hockey (A rather funny one)

And Powerpuff Girls Doujinshi, but that hasn't been updated in a while.

Unshelved is really good. I also enjoy El Goonish Shive and Sorcery 101. My brother also got me hooked on Bear Nuts, which is pretty funny too.

I may disagree with you politically, religiously, and/or on Snape but that doesn't mean I dislike you.
