Re: Favorite non-Hp book #2

Really...I usually read The Da Vinci Code by Dan Brown after an especially emotional HP book. That's about the only thing I read apart from HP.

Re: Favorite non-Hp book #2

I like the Trudi Canavan's Magician Guild's Trilogy too besides the Harry Potter Series. Oh and not to forget, David Eddings fantasy series.
As for non-fantasy books, I enjoyed reading the Shopaholic Series by Sophie Kinsella and two of her other books, Can you keep a secret and The Undomestic Godess.
But Harry Potter is still #1 though. - Haha -

Re: Favorite non-Hp book #2

I like Ender's Game and Ender's Shadow by O.S. Card, sort of science fictionish. I also REALLY like the book Farhenhieght (oh god, I can't spell) 451 by Ray Bradbury (sp)...also science fiction/fantasy. And I like Hitch Hikers Guide to the Galaxy, again, science fiction/fantasy. Scorpion King is good too.

Jeeze.....I think Harry Potter tainted my brain....I never realized I liked science fiction/fantasy best....

The Historian, by Elizabeth Kostova it's a great mystery. It's about a woman looking for her father, who is looking for her mother, and unraveling the mystery of the real man who is believed to have become Dracula.
