I was fine til the end. Then I was in tears. Way more tears than usual with an NCIS goodbye. Because that funeral was just so beautiful.

You could see where they expected Jackson to play a part in the end (presumably the end) of the Reynoso cartel storyline. The funeral was well done and the flashbacks were worth it. This was probably one of the few uncontroversial finales on the slate this season.

It was sad that they weren't able to continue on that storyline. But the way they handled it was well done. Agreed. They did a really good job, given the circumstances. RIP Ralph Waite . You'll be missed.

So, they retconned the Reynoso storyline again. The agent protecting Shannon and Kelly had a son, and the Reynosos answered to someone. All of which gave John Cryer a chance to come in and play "Scary Ducky." He did well, but that was still a shock.

Can I hope now that the Reynoso storyline is officially dead?
