Re: Ncis

What did everyone think of the season premiere last week? I thought it was a little bit lukewarm - different from the usual "Who's the bad guy" formula I enjoy so much. I just couldn't figure out where the dead guy in the motorcycle helmet fit into the picture...it was a little confusing.
I really hope Gibbs comes back for good, and soon!

If Ziva is in the show you are past the 2nd season, Kate did at least 2 seasons of NCIS.

Re: Ncis

NCIS is really good, It would sooooo be a disaster if Gibbs left, he makes the show.

You really are behind on episodes. Two of my favorite actors are on the show (Mark Harmon and David McCallum - I have been watching them, their whole careers) so I have been watching the show from the start, the humor was just a bonus. I love Pauley Perrette's character, too, but had never seen the actress before.

Spoiler: show
"Ask DeNuzso - all I got was a wrong number..." - Gibbs - after Tony got a phone call from someone who thought he was still the head of the team.

Yeah, I know. but I'm still enjoying it even though I know that Kate is going to "leave".
I, also, have been watching David McCallum (not so much Mark Harmon) most of his career, starting with (for me) "The Man From U.N.C.L.E."
I have to agree with you about Pauley Perrette, I love the character.

The Man from U.N.C.L.E. was my introduction to David, also. I just loved Illya.

The first time I heard of Mark Harmon, he was the quarterback for UCLA football team (his dad was a famous football player). When they announced he was going onto acting, I thought another jock who thinks he can act, I was pleasantly surprised when he showed up on a show I liked, and he actually could act.

Knowing about Kate, is why I don't like "spoilers". I have to read "series" of books in order.

I loved watching him in subsequent series, and its wonderful to see him in NCIS. I love the character.

I never knew that about him, I have caught him in various series and enjoyed his acting. Good for him.

My daughter hates to know any information on her favourite TV series and films, not to mention books (Harry Potter anyone?) and haven't I been in trouble when I accidentally spill the beans, so I understand your feelings.
I guess I'm lucky in that 99% of the time it doesn't stop my enjoyment of the programme. Except for one film - Sixth Sense! Some ditz on the TV told the ending and I was so mad! I did still enjoy the film though, but it took the shine off a bit.

I gather Gibbs is out at the moment.

Gibbs hasn't missed a show. Officially, he is back (and as the elevator in the MoM says) "I'll leave it at that."

I was out of town for the weekend, my answers are usually more prompt.

No problems, I haven't been here for a few days.
I am enjoying the humour in the show - and Gibbs hitting DiNozzo around the head.

Re: Ncis

Bunny - I like how Gibbs always seems to show up for the "revealing parts" of the team's conversations/confessions/goofing off. Always bringing "Abs" her Kapow when he wants answers; and walking off in the middle of a long story by "Ducky".
