He got shot and he was in a coma for awhile... he also had some memory loss as well. He recovered from it mostly, but he left NCIS for now.

Re: Ncis

Out of all the crime tv shows that are on today, I love the way NCIS is written. It also doesn't hurt that Abby is awesome. When I first watched NCIS and saw Abby, I thought that the viewing public would judge the show poorly because she is Goth. I am very glad to have been wrong.

Re: Ncis

^ Abby is great! The reason I prefer ncis to other crime shows is the personalities of the characters, like Abby, Tony, McGee. I loved Tony and Kate together.

Same here, that's part of what makes the show so great is that.

Re: Ncis

I missed the first couple of episodes here in the UK but have liked that they are not afraid to hurt some of the characters to show a bit of reality.

Re: Ncis

Yay! More NCIS fans! I'm completely hooked, cried like a baby when Kate died and when Gibbs quit. Can't wait for the season premier!! I tried to pick a fave character, but can't, love them all. Well, except maybe Jenny, what does everyone think of her?

Meh. I'm not terribly fond of Jenny, but I can tolerate her. I think she's pretty annoying at times, but there are times when she redeems herself by cooperating with Gibbs to an extent.

Re: Ncis

Does anyone know when NCIS starts back up in the US? It should be fairly soon.

Gibbs will be back, I hope. He just can't leave the show all together. My favorite character has got to be either Abby or Tony, I don't know which one.

I heard that it will be back on around the 19th of September... I agree it just wouldn't be the same show without him.

It's good to know the show hasn't been cancelled, of course the UK would be a bit behind - ie on season 2!

I like all of the characters, although I'm very fond of David McCallum.
I like Pauley Perrette as Abby, with all of her energy.

Re: Ncis

I think that we are upto mid season 3 or so here in Oz.
I don't always watch it but have really been getting into it lately (Just wish they would stopmixing old eps in with the new)

My favourite characters are Tony and Mcgee. I think they are kind of opposites of each other, Tony likes to think he knows everything but doesn't and Mcgee who is not always confident but is still good at what he does.

I hate when they [the networks] do that too, it can tend to be rather annoying...

I just found out that both NCIS and House are on at the same time... , d*** networks!!

Re: Ncis

I love this show!

My friend Taylor came over last year, so we could write our graduation speech, but we ended up watching the season finale instead. We were both bawling. I hope he comes back. The show just won't be the same!

I really miss Kate. My favorite characters would have to be Abby (proof that even the sweetest and funniest people can wear black) and Duckie (sweet, intelligent, and, in my case, oddly attractive )

A bit of good news, (that you will have to wait for) House moves back to its regular time (after NCIS) on Oct 31. This was in the latest TV Guide magazine.

Yes, that's how you spell it ^_^

I think she's awesome. I miss Kate and all that, but Ziva's pretty cool. I love the way she picks at Tony all the time...I think I just appreciate having such a strong female character around, really.

Yeah, thank god , I was worrying that they would keep them at that inconvient time slot for the entire season...

I think that Abbie is fun.
Funny you should say that you find David McCallum attractive - I thought that when I was 10 and he played Illya Kuryakin in "The Man From UNCLE"
