Re: Survivor San Juan Del Sur "Blood vs. Water 2"

I just couldn't believe that Drew thought he was in charge. And so he decides to throw the challenge on his own. His tribe was very right to vote him out. There's a difference of deciding as the majority to throw the challenge to vote the one, but for the one to throw the challenge because he thought he was in charge, that was just bad all over!

I know, such a stupid move! I wonder if the other tribe could see it ?

Maybe. I think they saw how poorly the other tribe was doing and perhaps that spurred them on? I'd bet Drew's brother knew what his brother was trying to do. Because, I mean, they're brothers. they've competed against each other for years!

Re: Survivor San Juan Del Sur "Blood vs. Water 2"

Drew's brother was sure upset about his bro getting the boot.! he crowed right off that he finally beat him at something .

I think the tribe mix up didn't really help all that much the loser tribe keeps on losing .

I missed something why did they target Dale's daughter? I can see why they wanted Baylor out, I think she is a cat all claws and teeth.

Well this season has done something that I didn't think was possible and done it twice. One tribe has bargained successfully with Jeff for camp supplies. I wonder what it will cost them for the food? Jeff did say it was going to be big.

Does anyone else think the challenges have been more physical this season than in recent history? I like it ,I just am surprised at how tough they are this season .

Is there no one on either tribe who knows how to forage for something better than snails? I haven't seen anyone try fishing at all yet.
I think those monkeys would be good eating if they could catch one . We see lots of snakes around camp those are also good food if they can catch one.

I laughed at Alec's reaction. And his gloating that he finally beat big bro at something.

I'm with you. I think I missed something about targeting Dale's daughter. To me it made no sense.

Yes the bargaining for food was pretty impressive. I wonder what it'll cost them though.

Re: Survivor San Juan Del Sur "Blood vs. Water 2"

yeah the whole food situation is interesting. On the one hand that's survivor, but on the other hand, half the people on the tribe weren't responsible for the crappy rationing and are now being punished for it. Should be interesting this week to see what it will cost them. And it was interesting with the whole tribe shakeup that there was no reward challenge. That might have helped the food situation a bit if they won.

Re: Survivor San Juan Del Sur "Blood vs. Water 2"

I saw a preview for this week's last night while watching Scorpion (love that show). Jeff is on the beach with the rice. I wonder how steep this penalty will be for them. I also feel bad for those who weren't part of the original tribe that wasted the food.

Well only a few more hours until we find out. I think it will be comfort that they lose. or maybe it will be an extra trip to tribal council ?

Re: Survivor San Juan Del Sur "Blood vs. Water 2"

an extra trip to tribal would have been interesting, but I think jeff made a good bargain. Basically starting from scratch. Of course the played up the rain issue since they lost their tarp but whatever. And sorry I dont agree with the arguement that they should have just waited till the challenge cause they might get food. 1.) a reward of food isn't a guarantee 2.) who said they would win? and 3.) challenge food rewards gets you through one day maybe two and then you are back where you started. I think making the trade for rice was a good idea. Especially since 3 members of the tribe werent responsible for the problem and 4 people are sitting on the other tribe scott free of what they did.

As for the vote off, it was kinda anticlimactic... I cant wait for the merge to shake things up again.

Re: Survivor San Juan Del Sur "Blood vs. Water 2"

An extra trip to tribal would have been awesome! But I like Jeff's solution. I didn't watch Australia, so I don't know what all happened there when the tribe ran out of rice. It would have been interesting to see those originally responsible all having to take part of the punishment. But things'll get shaken up again when the merge happens. I saw Dale getting voted off a mile away. So that wasn't a surprise.

It's funny. But I don't have a clear favorite this season like I have in the past. Like last season with Spencer.

Re: Survivor San Juan Del Sur "Blood vs. Water 2"

Dale made the classic mistake of telling people that he had an idol . As we all know when you do that you put the bulls-eye squarely on your own back.

I think that in Australia the rice got wet and went moldy but I may be wrong it's been a long time since that season.

Now that there is a merge coming they will be able to bring that full bag of rice with them a say see how clever we were look at how much food we have now .

Re: Survivor San Juan Del Sur "Blood vs. Water 2"

So not surprised Julie dropped out, although I can't believe she was hoarding food. First way to **** people off... hide food. But I'm totally surprised they didn't have to go to tribal anyways. This feud between Jeremy and Josh is about to get interesting. Looking forward to next week.

Re: Survivor San Juan Del Sur "Blood vs. Water 2"

I don't see how a couple of small handfulls of food is going to make a big difference to the group as a whole.
What really bugs me is that they went through her bag without her permission or knowledge .

They could have asked her to see in it ,but no they went and snuck around and did it on the sly .

I tell you the way these fools go through food is criminal .I bet that they have already eated that bag of rice.

They don't fish or forage for food and then sit around and complain about being hungry. Such a crock of scat .

I agree with you they should have been forced to go to tribal that night.

I feel that the two guys who are really trying to play the game should instead of fighting each other should be working together to get rid of the dead weight in the tribe.

Hey with Julie quitting does that mean its going to be a final two this season ? We could have 9 on the jury and two up for the win.

I didn't like the way that they snuck around either. That was just so not right.

I don't think I've ever seen a Survivor season where the tribes are this lazy and terrible at managing their food resources. I mean, come on. They're on islands that probably have some sort of fruit growing around.

yeah the sneaking around and going through people's stuff wasnt good either. Either way the fastest way to make people mad is to hide food.

Re: Survivor San Juan Del Sur "Blood vs. Water 2"

Well Josh is gone ,and I must say I'm disappointed he was one of the only guys who I felt was really trying to play the game .

I can see a girls alliance coming they are sure getting ****** off with the way the guys are treating them. ( auto sensor won't print that Eh!)

Speaking of that, Alec is just about the rudest guy to the women, that I've ever seen in this game.

In all the seasons I've watched and commented on in here, I think the only one I've seen who was worse was Colton.

Re: Survivor San Juan Del Sur "Blood vs. Water 2"

Agreed! I was so sad when Josh got voted out. Especially since if they would have gone to tribal last week, it most likely would have gone the other way. But with Jeremy having immunity there was no real villain to target other than josh who is a threat.

and yes the guys better watch how they treat the woman or they or going to end up voted out really quickly.

Re: Survivor San Juan Del Sur "Blood vs. Water 2"

I'm thinking that this is the most dysfunctional group of survivors I've ever seen! I've never seen so many problems like in this season.

And yes, those guys had better watch out. The women will band together to get them out for the way they are not respecting the girls.

Re: Survivor San Juan Del Sur "Blood vs. Water 2"

WOW really nasty blindside tonight! I loved it, but it now means the idiots are running the tribe. The only two players who were trying to play the game are now gone. Jeremy was blindsided .

Again people are going through other players bags this time Reed was the guilty one . Man if I played this game i'd catch a big spider or scorpion and keep it in my bag just so whoever tries to go through it gets the scare of their life.

I think the power couple really need to be sent packing . Their constant kissing and hand holding is getting annoying .

Looks like next weeks show is going to be interesting I hope that the father and son team can stay intact .
