Hold the Phone!

I have a great one! Fawlty Towers! Ever seen that? It bests Vicar of Dibley, it's just so outrageously funny! If you haven't seen it, see it, because it is seriously one of the greatest things ever committed to... well, tv land! makes me laugh like a maniac every time!

I haven't seen that one... but I've heard that it's funny. But I do love John Cleese's humor. It's too bad that he didn't really get that much more screen time in the HP films as Nearly Headless Nick... he made me laugh my butt off .

It's practically sacrilege that you haven't seen them. From what I know of you, you would absolutely adore it.

Fawlty Towers Best Of

I think you'll enjoy that.

Ohh I'll add The Vicar of Dibley too, it's like chocolate for TV. The finale is one of the best things I've ever seen on TV.

vampiricduck is right on the money. Faulty Towers and Vicar of Dibley are both outstanding. Family Guy and Futurama also put me in a great mood 99% of the time.

The Saddle Club makes me feel a bit ill lol. Too sugary and sweet (plus I think I'm outside the age demographic lol). Yay for ponies though!

That 70's Show typically puts me in a good mood. Keeping up Appearances, too.

Re: Shows That You Know Will Make You Feel Better

Keeping Up Appearances was fantastic! I loved that show! It's being released on box set soon, and I do so want to buy it!!! I used to laugh my way through every episode!

And, adding to that, has anyone seen Are You Being Served? It was so so funny! Very old British humour, but it still makes me laugh like a maniac!

Sticking with the British shows that make me feel all happy- Yes Minister and Yes Prime Minister are prime examples too. So.... side achingly.. good...!!

Will & Grace definitely. I just love all the characters so much, especially Grace. I just love how much of a flawed character she is yet so lovable. Also, That 70's show and the better episodes of The Simpsons and Charmed.

At the moment I'm really enjoying The Big Bang Theory. Sheldon is hilarious.

Most episodes of Scrubs cheer me up But there's a few sad ones I know to avoid when I'm down.

Black Books. Watching Dylan Moran scream at Bill Bailey is guaranteed to make me smile

Project Runway is pretty reliable for taking my mind off things. I love seeing the designers talk smack and I love watching the runway shows.

Go Girls. I've only just found this (on my Netflix) and I've discovered how much it makes me smile when I'm feeling rubbish

Boys over Flowers...Who knew a Korean drama could make me smile so much? Also, shows that I've watched growing up always make me feel better.

Most episodes of Frasier make me smile - and some are side-splittingly funny...
