The Fever Series by Karen Marie Moning

Karen Marie Moning's "Fever Series" comprise of five books. They are in the romance section as paranormal romance but don't let that throw you off if your against romance novels.
These books are more in the vein of the Southern Vampyre Sookie Stackhouse than they are bodice rippers.

I haven't been as hugely into a series other than Harry Potter.
Moning is supposed to write a spin-off series [yay!] and dreamworks just bought the rights to make them into films.

#1- Darkfever
#2- Bloodfever
#3- Faefever
#4- Dreamfever
#5- Shadowfever

MacKayla Lane is a spoiled, tan and blonde southern girl. Her beloved older sis was murdered in Ireland and she goes to solve the mystery. She discovers she is from a line of sidheseers who can see the fae.

These are soooo addicting!
Is anyone else here a fan of this series?

Enjoy the Unknown

I am, even though I am like a million years late responding to this. Although Mac annoyed me to no end, I loved Barrons. He carried the series for me. I heard there is supossed to be a film adaptation from dreamworks which worries me. My favorite book in the whole series was probably Dreamfever.

Aah.....It's Good To Be Back

I just started this series recently - though I've only read the first book so far - and I cannot stand Barrons. I'm curious to see where the series goes, but I'm not sure if I'll like it because everyone who loves the series does so because of Barrons. I guess I'll just have to try book 2 and see..
