Anyone remeber the name of the movie with Jimmy Stuart and 'Harvey' the six foot rabbit? (black and white film)

Labyrinth was excellent...

How about Scrooged, with Bill Murray?

There is a movie called "The Great Escape" that many young people probably haven't heard of--it's a WWII movie based on a true story, starring Steve McQueen and a much younger (completely unrecognizeable) Richard Attenborough (John Hammond from "Jurassic Park").

Great escape was a very good movie....one of my Fav war movies.

Here is another war movie that not too many people may know.....The Devils Brigade.

Where they get the US and Canadian soldiers together to train and become a fighting unit together...very good movie.

For those that love Monty Python movies.....Check out the movie YellowBeard....funny stuff.

An action movie called True Romance _ Very good movie that many have never heard of...and it is full of stars ....Gary Oldman's character is greatness in this movie as a crazy dreadlocked pimp named Drexel.

Crossroads with Ralph Machio and Joe Seneca (no not the cheesy girl movie)
Great guitar dual at the end of that movie featuring Steve Vai.

Flash Gordon...great Queen Soundtrack...the costumes are ok but the Special Effects are flat out terrible...but still watch it when it comes on one of the movie channels.

BoatTrip - Comedy that came out a couple of years ago with Cuba Gooding Jr and Haratio Sands (sp?)....very funny....Roger Moore (2nd james bond) playing a gay guy is funny.

The Younger crowd may not have heard of it...but it was a very popular film in it's day....Stir Crazy with Gene Wilder and Richard Pryor.

A War movie called...the Seige of Firebase Gloria with R. Lee Ermey (Drill Seargant from Full Metal jacket and the mail call show).

I mentioned in another thread but another good war movie ..>The Devils Brigade...If you like the Dirty Dozen movie then chances are you would like this one as well.

An old comedy movie I liked was called Father Goose with Cary Grant...funny him looking around the island for booze.

A movie many younger people may not have heard of....Strange Brew (McKenzie Brothers) funny movie with some great classic funny lines like....Gee you sure are nice, I would kiss you but I got puke breath lol.

One of my all time favs is both a war movie and a comedy....Kelly's Heroes.

Another movie the younger crowd may not have heard of is Shogun...great movie and book.

I have that soundtrack! It's pretty funny.

Another movie I used to watch all of the time when I was little was Monster Squad.

Anyone ever heard of Twelve Monkeys? Anyone? Thought so...

I love Twelve Monkeys. It was directed by Terry Gilliam who was considered for directing Harry Potter. Twelve Monkeys is one of my favorites. But, no one has ever heard of it!

That would be the movie "Harvey".

A good one too.

I love old movies, my television set is fixed on Turner Classic Movies.

I just love "Malena" (Guiseppe Tornatore). Its an Italian movie with Monica Bellucci.
Though its a Miramax movie I dont think many people know it.
"It centres on young Renato (Sulfaro) growing up in Sicily in the 1940s. Mussolini has thrown his lot in with the Nazis, but Renato and his friends have a bigger problem: Their emerging manhood! Which is stirred by the appearance of the gorgeous Malena (Bellucci). In fact, she's so drop-dead stunning that tongues start wagging throughout the town, as jealous wives gossip about the disgraceful things she must be getting up to while her husband (Aronica) is off fighting in North Africa. Soon things blow up into a full-blown scandal, while Renato watches (and silently tries to protect) her ... and he seems to be the only one who knows the truth. " (shadowsonthewall.co.uk

Oy. Someone mentioned Hagard. That soft core... ickyness. Um, If you haven't seen Monty Python... you need to. It's a classic. Everyone knows Monty! What else. There must be a lot of you who aren't from the US listing common movies here as unknowns. Kung Pow... Wasn't that the one with the tongue that talked on it's own? Or something? It had powers, right? Yeah, that's the movie I'm thinking of. No one knows what it is, but it's one of the funniest things ever! Then there's a whole series of hour and a half long "shows" that paraody movies. And the entire cast is thumbs... and the occasional chin. They have like Frankenthumb (Frankenstein), BatThumb (Batman), The GodThumb (The Godfather), The Blair Thumb Project (The Blair Witch Project), and there might've been more. Oh, Thumb Wars... or Star Thumbs. I don't remember which it is, but it was the oldest... Yup. Those are great! And Kung Pow is the same people who did the thumb movies.
