Haven't seen it yet either, but reviews are quite good, including Emma's portrayal of her character.

People assume that time is a strict progression of cause to effect, but actually from a non-linear, non-subjective viewpoint, it's more like a big ball of wibbly-wobbly, timey-wimey stuff...

....I miss David Tennant....

Re: Perks of Being a Wallflower (w/Emma Watson)

I finally gotten to see this now that it's out on DVD, I rented it first because I wasn't quite sure how I'd like it. It was simply perfect. Emma was brilliant as Sam, and I found a few times where her accent slipped, but I'm so used to it that it didn't bother me much. I loved Paul Rudd as Mr. Anderson, although the actor who played Patrick was a little off for me, but that's okay. I found myself sobbing throughout the movie, they really did well with this one.

I finally saw it on rental yesterday. I thought it was very well done. Story was a little more dark/depressing than I expected. I'm surprised you didn't like the actor portraying Patrick -- what bothered you about it?
