Re: Perfect Albums

Right now mine became 'Saturday Nights & Sunday Mornings' by the Counting Crows. It might be a bit early to put such a new album into the 'perfect' list, but it really just blew me away already. Powerful, deep, wonderful stuff.

Re: Perfect Albums

I may have to go with multiple answers, one for each band I love >_<

Rammstein - Mutter
Green Day - Dookie
Scala & Kolacny Brothers - It All Leads To This
Paramore - Riot!

Rammstein's is a really tough one for me, as I love 'Mutter' & 'Reise, Reise' so much but Mutter has to take it really.

Re: Perfect Albums

First there are two French albums that I'm sure nobody knows except the French people here, but anyway, I'll name them so that you can have a look at them on the internet

Saïan Supa Crew's KLR. I'm not a huge fan of hip-hop but this band is one of the few I love and the album is just awesome. It reminds me of my childhood xD.

Zebda's Essence Ordinaire. This band is known for a song that isn't really representative of the rest of the album, which is just perfect.

Then there is:

Bob Dylan's Blonde on Blonde. And I'll have to add The Times They Are A-changin' cause it's more the folk period of Dylan.

Muse's Origin of Symmetry. Every single song fits with the songs before and after it.

Ben Harper's Both Sides of the Gun. The idea to make two CD's which each one having its self existence is just awesome. Plus there are these wonderful songs...Morning Yearning reminds me all the time of Heath Ledger.

Re: Perfect Albums

This is a really great question.

I normally don't like more than one or two songs on an album, never mind the entire thing, but I have a few

Lies For The Liars - The Used

All We Know Is Falling & Riot - Paramore

Cansei De Ser Sexy - CSS

Re: Perfect Albums

I'd have to say that there are only two albums that have just- really awesome songs al the way through. Those two albums for me are:

The Black Parade - My Chemical Romance

Three Cheers For Sweet Revenge - My Chemical Romance

------------------------

I'm sad, I know.. I only have two perfect CDs, and the rest are weird.. Well, not weird, just- strange..

Don't be afraid to share! I'm sure there's at least one other person that knows it, likes it, or I'm sure we're all interested to hear about it!

Some of my favorites have to be Michael Buble by Michael Buble and Weathered by Creed.

I have the newest Korn CD that isn't exactly my favorite. I'd share that.

When I was younger I would of also typed out some titles of a few Green Day CDs, but now they aren't my favorite though I still listen to them.

Bone Palace Ballet - Chiodos

There is not one song on that CD that I don't love. I just love Chiodos' sound and Craig's lyrics are wonderful.

You'll probably enjoy Cinematic Sunrise, Craig's other band and some of my best friends.

Re: Perfect Albums

Perfect is such a... Big word, it should be used carefully, same with best.
But anyhow the first record that comes to my mind is Enochian Crescent - Black Church in my mind the 'best' black metal band and Black Church is in my opinion their best album to date. It differs from the otherwise quite homogenic (there are exceptions of course (lot of them)) genre.

Another one is Tegan and Sara - The Con, great, multi-layered, compact album.

I know and love Saian Supa Crew and I'm English! I used to have KLR but I've lost it somewhere. I did really like it so I think I'm going to have to buy it again. I actually prefer X-Raisons though.

As for my perfect album, I would nominate The Prodigy 'Experience' and The Streets 'A Grand Don't Come For Free'. I love each and every track on both of them.
