That's true...Bella does describe almost all of them as beautiful. Even Victoria, I think she said, was beautiful, only a tad wild-looking.

I've always wondered how that "sweet" scent that Bella smells on them actually smells. I get pretty sick around very strong vanilla-scented candles, and I wonder if that's the way they smell. If so, then I can understand why Jacob detests their scent.

They have actors for James, Jessica, and Eric! I'm so happy!

Yeah, I wonder how Vampires smell, too. They might smell good to Bella, but...
I don't really like the extremely sweet-smelling candles, either. I prefer the ones that smell like fresh linen or something .

OK, I'm sort of getting off-topic here Carry on .

Re: Twilight - The Movie

I was just looking over the MTV.com reviews that tells us that "More casting announcements are expected to be made in the next few weeks, including the key roles of Jacob Black, Sam Uley, Emily Young and Alice Cullen."

The thing that scares me about this is that Sam Uley and Emily Young aren't big parts until the SECOND BOOK. Does this mean they are going to make a sort of combination book movie? Like what they did to A Series of Most Unfortunate Events?

Are they going to take aspects from the second book and put them into the first movie (i.e. Jacob's werewolvism)?

Gaarrr. I'm going crazy here!

Re: Twilight - The Movie

I think they'll introduce Sam and Emily in Twilight so that it won't be such a new thing in New Moon. Considering Twilight is all about the Vampires, and New Moon about the Werewolves, it'll make sense for them to tie them together for the audiences that haven't read the books. I'm guessing that's what they're doing.

I cannot wait to find out who they cast as Alice Cullen!

If they do what they did to Unfortunate Events, I will be mad. There is no way the fans will like that if it happens. I'll probably walk out of the movie if they put werewolves in the first movie. There is no way that can go off good.

That'd probably make the most sense to the viewer, instead of introducing Sam Uley in the second movie, because there's already a lot to show there. I just hope they don't make him into a major character in the first movie and leave that to the second movie.

It'll also help tie in some of the parallelism between Sam, Emily and Leah and Edward, Bella and Jacob, but that might go *swooosh* over the average movie goers' heads.

Here here blue_dragons if there are werewolves in the first movie there will be lots of loud and bothersome groaning from my part in the theater. I probably wont walk out though - I mean I'm not made of money

(P.S. With Unfortunate Events they lumped three books together into one movie, but thats because they are all relatively short books. Imagine trying to put two 500 - 600 page books together! Plot holes Galore! So thats why I'm keeping my fingers crossed.

Re: Twilight - The Movie

This may be off topic and I'm sorry, but there is a point to my rambling. So I was watching Smallville on Thursday and they had a sneak peek of Jumper, which was the coolest thing. The way they have him move really reminds me of Twilight vampires moving! I think that they should make them move like that. It's so cool! Again, sorry for rambling.

Re: Twilight - The Movie

For those who haven't heard, Mike, James, Jessica and Eric have been cast. Here's a link the the Twilight Lexicon that has all the links for pics and such. They all look fine for me! I'm waiting for the Cullens and Jacob. The rest are just fluff!

Re: Twilight - The Movie

Supposedly they're going to announce Alice and Jacob soon. I can't wait for both of those (specially Alice).

I lurve who they picked for Mike. And I just realised, Kristen is the youngest person as of right now. She's 17, Michael is 20, Robert is 21, Anna is 22, and Cam is 25. (I have no idea about Justin, but he looks older than 17.)

Re: Twilight - The Movie

So far, I'm very happy who they've picked for these roles. Mike is perfect. Give Jessica a perm and she'll be perfect. Eric looks like he'll do just fine. James does look too attractive to play the part, but I'm supposing him to act right and with all the right make-up, I'm sure he'll be fine too.

I can't wait to see who they've casted for Alice and Jacob too! And I agree Mike looks very Mike-like. Ironic that his name is Michael as well.

Yeah I was a bit Irked about this as well, because in the book it described him as very average looking and well you know...

No, I think Eric was described as being greasy looking with a bad complexion, the sort of nerd type. Stephenie Meyer said in an interview that Ben, Angela's boyfriend is actually Asian.

At least they don't have to worry about slipping up on saying his name!

Re: Twilight - The Movie

I have spent some time in fandom and saw that a lot of people used Racheal Cook for Alice and Kate Beckensile for Esme, I think those are great choices if they could get them.

I can't believe they haven't casted any of the Cullen family yet!!

Re: Twilight - The Movie

OH MY GOD. They just cast Esme, Alice, Rosalie, Victoria, and Carlisle. So much at once!

The Twilightmoms forum has pictures of all of them. *dances* Wow. Gotta go check them out now.

Here are the best pics of them I could find (in a hurry, mind):
Esme - Elizabeth Reaser
Alice - Ashley Green
Rosalie - Nikki Reed
Victoria - Rachel Lefevre
Carlisle - Peter Facinelli

OMG OMG OMG OMG!!!

I LIKE THEM ALL!
esp. Alice!!! I'm just upset that they don't have the pictures of Alice with Spiky hair!

Are you sure this is for real? Because I just couldn't stand the tease!

It's pretty legit! It's from a top poster on the Twilightmoms forum, and she said she had a trusty source for these. And it's especially believable because Nikki Reed has worked with the director before (on the movie Thirteen).

I'm really happy about all these! I need to go find more pics of Carlisle now.
