Re: Top 10 Favorite All Time Films

i ont think i can list them in order of best, so just in order that i am thinking of them (with commentary, from myself):

1. E.T. - sadest film ever.

2. harry potter series - not as good as the books though.

3. lord of the rings trilogy - also not as good as the book.

4. ghostbusters - song was just the best ever.

5. pirates of the carribean(both) - lets just say, johnny depp couldn't look hotter.

6. titanic - got to admitt, it was pretty awesome (not the people dying part).

7. wizard of oz - i really dont know why.

8. alladin - both sad and funny.

9. the exorcist - still gives me nightmares.

10. shrek - i mean who couldn't love those films.

the end.

Re: Top 10 Favorite All Time Films

It's so fun to see what people's favorite movies are, it says something about them I think. I have way more than 10 favorite movies, but I'll keep the list at 10...
(not in order)
Pride and Prejudice
Sleepy Hollow
The Mummy
Harry Potter and Prisoner of Azkaban
The Wizard of Oz (sing along, duh)
Casablanca (which is a very funnily witty movie if you listen hard enough)
Kill Bill Vol. 1 and 2
The Patriot
Monty Python and the Holy Grail
Any of the Lord of the Rings movies

Basically any movie that TNT and USA alot. I love watching movies on cable, it is practically a hobby for me. Oh, and black and white movies of course.

The same is with me (: Those two are the most touching and well the best movies that I've ever seen. I see lots of movies and for a while I call them my favourites, but when I could watch Amelie for ages and never get tired of it and a very long engagement has such a beautiful story and makes me believe in love. those two films have such a big feeling stored in them, I can't describe it.

I'd add Big Fish, since I can't stop watching it too and The Nightmare Before Christmas.

I could probably narrow it down to my top 10 action, comedy etc but don't think I could only say 10 films.

I'm not sure if this would be my final choices, but off the top of my head...(In no order)

Titanic
Lord of the Rings: The Return of the King
Lord of the Rings: The Fellowship of the Ring
Lord of the Rings: The Two Towers
Hidalgo
Legally Blonde
Ever After
Pirates of the Caribbean
The Princess Bride

Ahh I have an edit: I couldn't possibly leave out Little Miss Sunshine, but I don't know which other movie to get rid of.

The Nightmare Before Christmas
Serenity
Labyrinth
Moulin Rouge
Interview with the Vampire
Queen of the Damned
V for Vendetta
Beetlejuice
Charlie and the Chocolate Factory (Tim Burton version)
Secret Window

honourable mentions to Edwards Scissorhands, which can be interchanged with Beetlejuice depending on my mood.
