Re: Does Your Room Have A Theme?

Well I've been a member of the RSPB (Royal Society for the Protection of Birds) for years, and every one of their magazines has a poster in, so my walls are covered in wildlife posters. Harry Potter is also present in the form of two Harry Potter paper bags in which I collected my sixth and seventh hp books, and two hp lever-and-arch files. Colour, generally, is a theme I like - my walls are bright orange and my carpet is blue; I have colourful things everywhere. And it's a right mess.

Re: Does Your Room Have A Theme?

2 words: Draco Malfoy. The walls are covered with movie posters with his picture & to fill out the spaces I couldn't find movie posters for, I put fanart I found online or did myself.

I know if I owned my own place, it'd probably have an Asian theme to it.

Total (almost) dedication to Harry Potter. I have the books displayed, posters, the complete lego castle, plush animals from gund--I can go on and on.

But...one shelf...twilight...lol

Re: Does Your Room Have A Theme?

No, I don't have a theme. I have many posters of HP of course, but I have some random Halo and PotC posters. Then I have a few Dark Knight posters. On top of my desk, it is covered in HP merchandise. Thats all the theme I really have

Re: Does Your Room Have A Theme?

not anymore.
once upon a time the theme was harry potter to the extreme.
you literally could not see the paint on my walls. wall-to-wall was harry potter. magazine articles, autographs, drawings; you name it, it would've been on my wall.
i also had a life-size cardboard cutout of harry + dobby from CoS. it was over 6 feet tall and resided right next to my bed, so harry was the last thing i'd see before i fell asleep at night and the first thing i'd see when i woke up.
but then, my mum wanted to paint my room so, my shrine was pulled down and once it was finished, i discovered i was no longer allowed to be sticking stuff all over my walls
it was quite a sad day.

i have a couple of framed photographs from my debutante ball on my wall, however, and i still have my autographs somewhere, so i'm planning to buy them new frames so they can happily sit above my bed.

Re: Does Your Room Have A Theme?

My room is very Victorian Era inspired. I have lacy and drapey curtains in a light cream with flowers. My walls are cream with a green trim on the doors and all woodwork. Wood floor with a green rug. I have a vintage globe, a vintage Burberry chest to store my art supplies. I designed it myself and am so bummed I have to move out soon haha.

Re: Does Your Room Have A Theme?

I have a pink and green theme in my room. The walls are pink and green stripes and the everything all the chairs blankets pillows etc. is pink and green. All the furniture is white wood and it even has a kitchenette with a bar so the barstools are painted pink and green.

Re: Does Your Room Have A Theme?

the theme was not my choosing, so I'm currently working to de-theme it. I used to share a room with my brother and he's really into football (american football, not soccer), so eventually all the football stuff will be taken down and replaced with... whatever. I'm not sure what's coming but it will not involve football.

Re: Does Your Room Have A Theme?

My walls are all white, so I could only decorate them with posters/pictures/collages, so before I took all of them down for a paint-job (which we never even gotten around to yet!), it was filled with just stuff I was obsessed with and stuff I loved. One part of the wall was filled with Avatar: the Last Airbender stuff, the next part dedicated to Harry Potter, and every were just scatters of bands or musicians I liked, like the Hush Sound, Paramore, and David Cook.
Then I took that down, now there's nothing on my wall except white paint and a couple of awards from school.

Re: Does Your Room Have A Theme?

Well, HI I am new to this forum...and now here's my room

two white walls, two dark red walls, red curtains, wooden floor with a red carpet, giant black iron bed with white curtain covered with roses, black bookshelves, ...well most of my furniture is black except for my make-up table, which is white and gold
My walls are decorated with a red asian paper-umbrella, 2 or 3 posters from concerts or events I went to, a huge mirror with a wonderful antique golden frame and some peacock-feathers, my door is covered with old concert-tickets of events I've been to.
Decoration stuff: lots of shells in glassbowls, lots of candles, some stones and chrystal balls, some masks, black feathers and white feathers and peacock feathers(I have a crush on feathers dunno why), a "Gollum"-statue, some little fairies and dragons, my music instruments (several flutes and bagpipes)
what else could I say about it?
Well kinda looks like "Victorian Gothic Barbie" or something like that....hahaha

Re: Does Your Room Have A Theme?

My room's theme is "very humongously outrageously messy". Does that count??

Well, apart from the mess, I guess it has a horsey theme. :P
