I second that. I hope none of the typos/misspellings we made fun of you for were accidents of your own. Thank you guys SO much for bringing in Bellatrix for a little while. It made the entire thing perfect for me.

That was INCREDIBLY fun! Best April Fool's Joke ever! I loved it! I really loved how we tried to put up the resistance with Voldywatch. HAHAHAHA! That was really fun. And yes... Random Death Eater had me in giggles. So did Nagini. HSS!

Same here!!!! They were by far my favorites, especially with RDE and his petition campaign. No one ever figured out what he wanted to petition, but I think we all agreed that he needed a better UT, and he got one!!!!!

Nagini was just brilliant. Too much fun. I loved all the little smilies she posted everywhere of her terrorizing people.

The smilies are awesome

And Nagini's conversation with Voldemort has me in splits

Three cheers for the entire staff. Most of them gave up a lot of their day to make this work. And a big round of applause for Hes and Sue who really do the brunt of this the rest of the time.

And Random Death Eater was Sherlock's idea.

Awesome job everyone! Yeah, I could see it took a lot of planning and effort to give us the fun we had yesterday Thanks so very much!

And awesome idea Sherlock

All in all, I think CoS is by far the best Harry Potter forum on the 'net. Most of the others are so unreasonably restrictive, oppressive, and narcissistic, it's like being choked by Umbridge herself to be post there.
This is *THE* official Harry Potter forum as far as I'm concerned.

Re: Kudos and Applause for this site...

That's the best April Fool's joke I've ever seen! A pity I had to go to bed an hour or so before it was over, my parents don't understand how fun things like that can be. It's not like I would've missed any sleep, I didn't fall asleep until after 3.30 anyway...

I can totally see that!

Re: Kudos and Applause for this site...

I have been visiting this site off and on for a few years. Now I find this thread. Where has it been? I could have said kudos and applause long time ago. I didn't enroll until Jan. of this year. There have been other threads that I find and start reading only to have them disappear for awhile, then they come back. I loved the April fool's thread yesterday. That makeover for Voldy was very funny. Cheers!

Re: Kudos and Applause for this site...

I would not bow down to Voldie & Co., but to the staff who worked so hard and made April 1 such a wonderfully fun day:

Thank you all for working so hard to mess us all up (banning and points and such) knowing you'd have to work even harder to put it all back to rights.

While I really missed Hogsmeade or that day and a half (seemed MUCH longer ), I was proud to know I was considered such a threat so early on. As others have said, it was a great badge of honor to be banned and get points. Thank you so much for that. It wasn't a prank as much as a fun game we could all join in. I am not a fan of practical jokes because someone is usually the butt of the joke or victim. In this, there were no victims as we all got to play along.

Thanks to all the staff for your hard work yesterday (and before setting it up) and for all the hard work you all put in to give us a place that we can enjoy so well. Again, all I can say is:

but thank you anyway.
