The Prisoner of Zenda - by Anthony Hope - a swashbuckler written in 1894 that one of the readers here really liked. I had heard of this book before, and since I love The Three Musketeers and The Scarlet Pimpernel, I thought I would give it a try.

It is good so far.

Re: Your current read v6

After finishing the Potter series, I tried my hand at the Mummintroll books I loved as a child, sadly I was disappointed; so I'm currently reading Let The Right One In by John Ajvide Lindqvist. A vampire romance set in 1981 Sweden. It's well written but it's not for the faint hearted and I think it's prudent to read reviews about it before giving it a shot. Strong discretion is advised.

Oooooooooooooooooooooh, you're gonna love it!!!!

I began the second volume of Churchill's memoirs about WWII this weekend. It keeps being great, though now Japan has entered the war I'd be grateful for more maps of the Far East (I'm not as familiar with that part of the globe as I am with Europe).

Room by Emma Donoghue I'm not far into it, yet, but I'm enjoying it.

Re: Your current read v6

Just finished Bryson's Dictionary of Troublesome Words by Bill Bryson and I am 2/3 of the way through I'm a Stranger Here Myself: Notes on Returning to America After 20 Years Away by Bill Bryson.

After finishing Mother Tongue - Bill Bryson [a real book (the only way I could find it)], I will probably dive into At Home: A Short History of Private Life by Bill Bryson.

I love my kindle - I have about 10 books of fairy tales collections—including ones from other countries—that I can pickup and read at anytime.

Re: Your current read v6

I can't get through Hollow Pike, so I've started Pandemonium by Lauren Oliver (Delirium, #2) yesterday. Muuuuch better! So far it's not as good as the first book, but then again, the first one was VERY good.

A Feast For Crows - By George R.R. Martin.
People warned me not to read it, that it's slow...personally, I'm enjoying it a lot more at this easier pace.

Cat's Eye by Margaret Atwood, excellent so far. She has this very enjoyable quality about her books, where they draw the whole picture for you, making you comfortable in the world described. I love that.

I'm reading I Heart New York by Lindsey Kelk. It's a romance/chick lit book and it's pretty good. Different to what I normally read. I am also reading Wuthering Heights.

The Goddess Test by Aimee Carter. I've heard a lot of mixed things about it, but so far I like it

Started reading Colour by Edith Anderson Feisner. It's the first book I read about colours; their theories and studies. I'm finding the beginning about colour 'history' a little bit boring, but I'm very excited to get into the actual subject.

Starters by Lissa Price. It's quite interesting so far - I'm curious to see where this story will go! It's definitely an original (to me) concept.
