1) The Harry Potter series (of course)
2) The Art of Racing in the Rain by Garth Stein
3) My Sister's Keeper by Jodi Picoult
4) Hamlet by Shakespeare
5) 1984 by George Orwell
6) Tess of the d'Urbervilles by Thomas Hardy (this one is relatively new to the list)
7) The Looking Glass Wars series by Frank Beddor
8) Mansfield Park by Jane Austen
9) Thirteen Reasons Why by Jay Asher
10) Slaughterhouse Five by Kurt Vonnegut

I think that covers it for now.
Knowing you, I'm surprised by some of your titles. I never knew you liked 1984 that much. Not at all surprised to see Slaughterhouse there, though. And no Book Thief?

I knew I forgot one!! Book Thief is absolutely amazing. It's in my top five, if I rank them in order. And 1984 was so awesome. I need to give that one another read though, it's been so long since I last read it. And of course Slaughterhouse is here, Vonnegut is my second favorite author, and that book means so much to me.

Re: Top 10 Fav Fiction Books

1. Oryx and Crake by Margaret Atwood.
2. The Stand by Stephen King
3. Let the Right One In by John Ajvide Lindqvist
4. The Harry Potter series by JK Rowling (of course)
5. The Passage by Justin Cronin
6. Warm Bodies by Issac Marion
10. Submarine by Joe Dunthorne
8. Year of the Flood by Margaret Atwood
9. Brave New World by Aldous Huxley
10. The His Dark Materials trilogy by Philip Pullman

But the list changes all the time. Right now I can think of about 20 books that I can add to it.

Re: Top 10 Fav Fiction Books

My top ten outside of the HP books (in no particular order) are:

*Persuasion - Jane Austen
*Wuthering Heights - Emily Bronte
*Birdsong - Sebastian Faulks
*Of Human Bondage - W. Somerset Maugham
*The Pursuit of Love - Nancy Mitford
*Captain Corelli's Mandolin - Louis de Bernieres
*A Dance to the Music of Time - Anthony Powell
*Vile Bodies - Evelyn Waugh
*A Room with a View - E.M. Forster
*1984 - George Orwell

EDIT: I have just realised that there are adaptations of all but one of these - Of Human Bondage - which feature actors that have appeared in the Harry Potter films!!!
