Fantastic Beasts: The Crimes of Grindelwald

So the title and first cast picture were released today. Going by the title, I don't get the impression this is going to be as much about Newt's creatures as the last one was; not sure if that's a good thing or not. It is interesting to see that Credence is in the picture--that's a topic I'm interested in seeing more of. I don't know about Jude Law as Dumbledore in the cast picture--he's not nearly flamboyant enough. Dumbledore should be wearing something other than a relatively restrained dark blue, IMHO.

As long as the movie is interesting, exciting and lives up to the reputation of a story by JK, I have no problem with it. There has to be a perfect balance of wonderful story telling and eye catching graphics.

Yeah, like his purple suit in HBP! Also, shouldn't his hair be auburn colored? I suppose I'm being nitpicky. I generally like Jude Law as an actor, but he just seems a lazy choice.

Although, Jude Law is a very good actor, hopefully he won't disappoint.

I have to say that I never warmed up to Michael Gambon as Dumbledore, he didn't convey the same mischievous twinkle in his eye, nor warmth towards Harry. I thought he never quite portrayed the complexity nor gravitas of Dumbledore. Probably the result of never having read any of the HP books.

People assume that time is a strict progression of cause to effect, but actually from a non-linear, non-subjective viewpoint, it's more like a big ball of wibbly-wobbly, timey-wimey stuff...

....I miss David Tennant....

Ah yes. I don't think we as a fandom will ever get over that.
