I liked that bit, but I thought they overdid the 'let go' bit. She said it about three times.

I loved the Quick Quotes Quill, I think Newell really grasped that one...
I liked that they used more their uniforms
The scene were Snape hits them was hillarious
The scene with Myrtle was also hilarious

Over all I think the movie was great, but GoF beeing my favourite book, the movie was way way WAY short in quality... so, I decided that they are two totally different things....

Yeah I loved that part too. Though it's Harry who says that. He goes: "Why do they travel in packs? How are you supposed to get one on their own?" That was really funny. And then how Cho's friends just stared at him and he looked like he was about to say something, but then just smiled and kept walking. I loved Daniel in that scene!!

The graveyard scene. Ever since I finished GoF, I've wanted to see that scene in film, it's my favorite part from all 6 books. And I think they did a marvelous work

The Yule Ball was great too

The bathroom scene, totally hilarious

And so many little things here and there, I cant posibly list them all

The acting of the kids has definitely improved a lot.
The scene after Harry brings Cedric's body back was brilliant

Definitely the romance factor for me. I adored the Yule Ball and how it was depicted, right down to the blubbering and crying girls on the stairs. Made me remember my old school dances. =)

ooh, there were plenty of nice things! Plenty.

Okay... what I was most pleased to see was Daniel Radcliffe's acting skills! They are absolutely HUGELY improved in this movie. I was very very very happy about it. I used to despise Dan... but now, he's become quite the actor.

Okay, and this isn't a happy part, but when Amos Diggory was crying over Cedric... oh man, that was really touching. I lost it, started bawling...

Overall I loved the movie, it exceeded my expectations! =D

Also when Ron was trying to convince Harry that he actually warned him about the dragons.. priceless.

And at the end of the Yule Ball. The acting was actually okay for a heavy scene like that.

OH and scenes with Snape, for sure.

Yes, it was very funny. I laugh myself to death...

I liked the part in the owlery, when Cho can't understand what Harry was saying.

Ah, I loved the whole movie, so I'll just pick out the first thing that comes to mind.

McGonagall: Professor Moody, what are you doing?!
Moody: ...teaching.

Just the slight pause he took before answering while still focusing on bouncing ferret!Draco made it even more spectacularly funny.

GoF is the best so far. Chris Columbus, in directing the first two films, often gets a bum rap; but one must consider that those films, like the books, laid the groundwork. Chris started with nothing and created a visual world. Now that the basics of Harry's world are in place, the world can be expanded upon.

The effects were stunning. Such as the attention to detail as when the dragon was scrabbling across the rooftops and shingles were flying everywhere - brillant! And Dan is becoming an action / adventure hero as well as becoming a very good actor. His scene with Cedric's body after returning to Hogwart's was award material.

The scenes during the ball were priceless. Reminds me of prom nite; they were so true to life. The humor came from life and life's mistakes and growing up; not from fat ladies and ugly shrunken heads. The movie was majick. Not because of witches and wizards; but because it was about growing up and the choices that have to be made; it was about who your friends are and how hard it is to keep them, and that sometimes you lose one through no fault of yours.

Looks like I'm going to be spending more time than usual at the theater this month.

I think they way they did the scene with Voldemort confronting his death eaters was brilliant. The part where he faces Lucius was great, Ralph Fiennes was definetely the best choice for Voldemort, he managed to make me feel a mixture of fear and disgust. He was a Lord, but at the same time a sort of weird creature that one has to get used to looking at, and he delivered the lines perfectly.

I, unlike many others, actually thought the film makers did an excellent job of condensing an eight hour book into a two hour film. I was pleased.

I have to agree with you - as much as I would have liked a bit longer movie it may have made it drag too much - I do think they did pretty well, seeing how they still would have had to cut out a lot to even get down to 3-1/2 hours! People would probably still complain about what was missing even then!

True that!

I liked the scene when they were walking to the portkey for the Quidditch World Cup, and Cedric turns up. Hermione and Ginny look at eachother like "SWEET!"
