Second Life

Anyone play this game?

I just joined yesterday (as Vance Muggins). It is a really interesting game, though most people wouldn't call it a game. It is more, in my word, a social experiment.

I've found a lot of cool stuff on the game. There is a condensed version of Hogwarts (entitled Hogwarts New Beginnings) complete with all four Houses, Great Hall, Quidditch Pitch, and more! It is amazing.

Anyone else play?

Re: Second Life

I heard about this before... sounds interesting.

Does it cost anything to play?

Camping: Sitting in a specified zone for so many minutes, gets you 1 L$ or more every few minutes. Random times.

There are places where you can push a button and enter the code it gives you and you get 1 L$. And there is also games. There are thinks that link up to survey sites that get you dollars, but I don't like em and like I said, there are other ways to get it.

I'm Amethyst Sweetwater on there... you?

And I keep on running into this nice little error -- 'Unable to connect to Second Life.
DNS could not resolve the host name.'

Have you had any similar problems like it?

Yea it is... and I looked it up, and its something on their end from the looks of things.

Someone who had a Mac had the same issue, and it turned out to be that.

It's rather annoying though .

I asked about it on their Tech support board, and I am still waiting for an answer , since I want to try it out.
