SS and CoS extended versions are available in their Ultimate Editions.

Only SS and CoS will ever be available to purchase, as they are official versions. The others are edited by ABC, while these two were edited back by Columbus and team.

ultimate, schmultimate. Don't the producers realize that the ultimate is a movie that include deleted parts, added in smoothly to the original print. Any extras should be narrations and outtakes, how did they do that, and cast interviews. It's no fun to watch a deleted scene out of context without proper editing or music.

I'm sure Half-Blood Prince will show that Monday. I hope so... the extended version they show is absolutely amazing.

I'm sure they'll repeat it again on Monday too and it was great! Hope they cut down on those darn pop-up ads this time

Oh, good, we just got a new flat screen t.v. Hopefully, the movie will be seen properly without the black bars on the top and bottom of the screen.

No SS or CoS? I haven't seen the HBP on this channel, is it really that awesome?

If you're familiar with the deleted scenes from the movie, well, Fam put them back in. We see additional scenes of Harry and Hermione talking, Snape almost crying during In Noctem, Dumbledore saying "I am not worried Harry, I am with you," etc.

Looks like there won't be any HBP on Monday the 20th, so you better catch it on Sunday if you can.

The marathon begins tonight.

There's been no changes to the schedule. I wish they'd added SS and CoS. I miss those all day Saturday and Sunday marathons.

Re: ABC Family's Versions of the HP movies

Thanks for the bump, I've been trying to get in to do it. I did find out at the ABC Family site that they're going to show never before seen behind the scenes interviews, so that show be a little something new.

Re: ABC Family's Versions of the HP movies

I was shocked and absolutely thrilled Wednesday night when I had to check with my obsessive search for HP marathons. Zap2it has started to post the beginnings of another ABC Family marathon...it's starting on Wednesday, March 15th with Sorcerer's Stone They only post 2 weeks in advance, so once they have a more detailed schedule available I'll make sure to post it

Re: ABC Family's Versions of the HP movies

Wow, they really are showing the HP movies quite frequently. But, I can't watch all of the movies, either I end up busy or I go to bed early and miss the last hour.

I'm happy to hear about this. ABC Fam. marathons are always the best.

Re: ABC Family's Versions of the HP movies

My FIOS listing has Chamber on Thursday 3/15 at 7pm EST and Prisoner on Friday 3/16 at 8pm EST w/ the usual reruns in the afternoon. Can't see Saturday yet, but my guess would be 1-5 then 2-6 on Sunday. Hope we get a Monday HBP (my fav) this time.

Re: ABC Family's Versions of the HP movies

So far Zap2it is listing Sorcerer's Stone starting a 7:30 on Wednesday and again at 3:30 on Thursday before COS...Friday will be COS at 4 and POA at 8. They've got a few for Saturday- POA starts at 2:30; GOF at 5:30...that's as far as they've gotten I'll post the whole thing as soon as they finish. Maybe we'll get HBP again on Monday this time since it looks like they may be having double showings of each movie.

Re: ABC Family's Versions of the HP movies

You guys are so lucky! I wish I had the channel so I could watch the marathon! But my HP buddy has it, so I'll let her know the schedule and I maybe I can just go to her house! Thanks for posting it!

Re: ABC Family's Versions of the HP movies

I can see Phoenix at 9pm on Saturday and Prisoner, Goblet, and Phoenix again on Sunday starting at 11am. That leaves 8:30-midnight slot open for HBP on Sunday, presumably. That means no Stone or Chamber after Friday and Prisoner gets 3 showings.

As long as they play SS & CoS at least once I will be happy. I was very upset with them after the last marathon.
