It's still there, you just have to un-collapse it. See next to 'Mark Forums Read' at the top bar of 'Latest Discussion'.

Re: Comments on New CoS Forums Features

The tag cloud on the main page was adding quite a bit of unnecessary strain on the server, so I had to remove it. Instead, we provided a link to it (as gertiekeddle pointed out). You can also find the link in the search drop down right at the top of every page.

Re: Comments on New CoS Forums Features

I was just using [fieldset] tags, but the "Bold" option seems to be disabled. Is there a reason for this? Thank you.

I must also add that it is much more convenient for the [fieldset] text to be smaller than the default.

Is the invisibility cloak working for everyone? When I click on it, nothing happens...

Are you double clicking?

It's not responding for me either. And I'm not double clicking.

ETA: Oh wait, it just responded randomly and now it's not changing back. I'm stuck under the invisibility cloak.

Re: Comments on New CoS Forums Features

You need to double-click the invisibility cloak icon to make it turn on, or off. After you refresh the page or click on a thread, you will see that it turned on, or off.

Re: Comments on New CoS Forums Features

Ok, it works now. Thanks!

Question though: does the cloak make you invisible on everything, such as at the bottom of the page where it says who is viewing a thread, and on the Marauders Map?

Invisible to everyone but Mods and Admins. Remember, Alastor said they have "powers we know not".

It was true in the old CoS, I'm sure it's still true in the new one. You're invisible only to other students. I think.

Re: Comments on New CoS Forums Features

Just being curious, but are you going to fix the other skins like the Hufflepuff one? I sometimes like to use that one (though my default is OOTP). I am just asking out of curiosity. You do not have to hurry up or change your plans or anything. Take your time. It's not a necessity.

I may disagree with you politically, religiously, and/or on Snape but that doesn't mean I dislike you.

Yes, the other skins will be coming back eventually. Ali's working on them, so we just have to give him some time

I've been gone since Saturday the 21st, and I thought I was on the wrong site for a moment when I logged back on. It is going to take me a very long time to get used to this. But it's really cool!

Thanks. Ali can take all the time he needs/wants. I was just curious if that particular one was coming back.

Re: Comments on New CoS Forums Features

Something that I've noticed that is mildly irritating is that it's hard to really see what a person's avatar looks like because it's really shrunken down to fit on the profile page. You really have to track down a post to see what it looks like now. I don't know if there's a way to make it bigger or anything...

Anyway, as I said, it's only mildly irritating, not that big of a deal. You guys have done a great job redesigning this place in general.

To add to what Nadine said, the upgrade we did to the forums opened up a few cans of worms that meant the house styles had to come down as well as some others. As each style has its own "graphics", each one needs to be worked on individually and Ali is unlikely to release any style until he's 100% satisfied it's fit for purpose. Thanks to everyone for their patience

I can't promise anything will happen quickly with this. It will probably be a QoL (quality of life) thing that will get seen to at some point in the future.

Re: Comments on New CoS Forums Features

I can say it, since I am too old to worry about approval ratings: there really isn't any reason to complain about the features on CoS. I can understand asking questions about using the new additions, and how to access some older ones, but all the new stuff is just gravy. It's great to have it, and I appreciate it.

Perhaps this has already been asked, but are we limited to 50 pictures in our album? I've noticed I can't upload any more pictures.
