Re: The worst song you ever heard.

I have to agree with all the James Blunt haters. I think hes terrible.

As for Candy Shop I agree that the lyrics are terrible and it shouldnt even be allowed on air but I like the song ignoring the lyrics.

Re: The worst song you ever heard.

Anything by Evanessence (sp?) Her voice makes me want to cry in pain, seriously, my dog could sing better.
"Love me or Hate me" by Lady Soverign (sp? agian). words cant describe my disgust.
And anything by Nickelback is okay at first, but it is always soooo overplayed. ughhh.

Uggghhh. Yes. Everyone loves them and I can't stand them! I think the singer's voice sounds computer-generated and some of the songs are kind of pointless. 'Photograph' comes to mind...

I agree one hundred percent on that one. The song Call Me When You're Sober makes me cringe every time I hear it. I have to turn the radio way down when they play it at work. Thankfully no one else can stand her voice either.

Warren Zeno's classic Werewolves of London? That's such a great song.

Re: The worst song you ever heard.

Oh the joys of hardly listening to the radio...ever. But I do have some major dislikes.

-Paris Hilton. Not only is she far overrated...but she's everywhere...and she does...well....NOTHING!!!
-Justin Timberlake. I don't mind him as a person...but could some kind doctor please reattach his...um..well, I think you know where I'm going with this.
-James Blunt. He's only making music to get laid. He annoys the **** out of me...and his songs drive me insane. It's like listening to Jazz...torture for my brain.
-John Meyer. I think I'm the first one to complain about him so far. Everyone seems to love him...but I think he and James Blunt sound a lot alike...therefore...they both get the boot from my list.
-Hilary Duff. Nice person...annoying singer.
-Janet Jackson. Her songs are annoying...plus, very repetitive.
-Faith Hill. Not because she's country, cause I like country, but because she's talked about by everyone. Everyone who likes country seems to like her. Everyone except me.
-Tim McGraw. Again another country singer...but I think I like 1 of his songs...his voice is annoying the fact that he's married to Faith Hill is annoying. And really don't care what the two of them are doing on tour together. I would NOT go and see them. Someone couldn't pay me enough.

There is a song that I heard a few years ago...it was the worst song in the world...and I can't even write the title of it here. Why? Because it's profane. That's how bad it is. It's the same lyrics over and over and over again. Which made it an easy song to remember...and get stuck in your head. Gosh, how annoying.

And that dam Chicken Noodle Soup song.

Re: The worst song you ever heard.

I could probably say that it would be "You're Beautiful" by what's-his-face (can't remember)

But then again, there was this guy who was opening for The Raconteurs when I saw them this summer- he was terrible.

Anyway if any one want to hear a bad song. It's Gwen Stefani's "Wind it up". This song she even actually goes yul-la-hi-ho about goats and goatherders. Yep,it's true.

Anything by the pcd, Fergie and Chingy.

However the absouloute worst I have ever heard was by Benny Hill, I think it was called Ernie, the songs about a guy called Ernie, I think he's a cowboy or milkman or something. It's just awful.

My sister. I don't know why, as she usually has good taste in everything. If I hear "Fergalicious" one more time, my brain will implode.

Anything by Fergie Ferg probably ranks on my Top 10 Most Hideous Songs Ever. "My humps" is dreadful too.

However, the song I hate the most, the one that takes all the prizes, the one I want to rip my eardrums off whenever it comes on the radio is "You're beautiful" by James Blunt. I hate that song something fierce. Now this hurts to listen to!

Re: The worst song you ever heard.

Actually, i think this seems to have turned into a thread for overplayed songs rather than actual bad songs:

For example, i would consider The Ketchup Song (annoying song from a couple of years ago) to be terrible, the mi-ah-he song (the blokes on the plane in the video with the words across the bottom) is also terrible.

They are proper bad songs.

Re: The worst song you ever heard.

There's a lot of staples that I can think of when I think of bad songs... Such as:
Hampsterdance
Cottoneye Joe remix
CRAZY FROG AGH

I hate all of those anthem-esque things.

I can't stand it either, especially because it's on the radio on the bus every morning.
And I'm not really fond of "My humps", even though it's popular with a lot of people I know.

Worst song sung by the worst singer: "Good-bye My Lover" by James Blunt. :waiting for tomatoes to be chucked at me

Thank you!!! I can't stand that song either. IMHO, James Taylor is NOT a good singer. He's so off key it's horrible. Why he's as popular as he is, I don't know.

As for worst songs, any song by:
NKOTB--they started this whole "Boy Band" stuff.
NSYNK
Boyz2Men
Backstreet Boys

that new song by Christina Aguilara (sp) , I have to change the station, her voice just goes right through me. She sounds like a cat in pain.
Any song by Celine Dion--she's way to shrieky for my liking.
"I will Always Love you" by Whitney Houston. Even with the television muted you can hear her shrieking during the last "AND..."
Most songs by Mariah Carey
that new song by Avril Lavine where she says "we'll go through it togather". Okay I KNOW the word is together but she sings the e as an a. That is the number one way to lose me as a fan is when a celebrity tries to be cute by pronouncing ees as aas. Example "lucky number Savan" as opposed to "seven". IMHO you might as well scrape your fingernails down a blackboard.
