Re: Say something positive about The Goblet of Fire

I thought it was an excellent movie, I thought all the task were excellent, the graveyard scene was awsome. draco turning into a ferret was hilarious. Ron dancing with Prof.
Mcgonagall funny. The twins getting old, Ron's look after he asked out Fleur. there are so many more but I woll stop here

I loved the Fred and George bits especially the age line of course. And all the actors acted really well particularly the trio.

Re: Say something positive about The Goblet of Fire

I think this is the best so far.
Even though the movie was chopped up so much people cant stand to think about it, the deliverance was good, given what they could work with and how much time they had to play with.

The trio's acting has improved once again, and i was very pleased that Dan's crying is more believable then the last.

Scenes may have been changed, but the overall feel with each turn was full of the right emotion.

Great job everyone!

It's brilliant, but I liked it more when I hadn't read the book.

Er.. The Durmstrang entrance scene was hot.

Re: Say something positive about The Goblet of Fire

1. Anything with dear old Barty in it. He was just so funny! Probably not intentionally though. I'm pretty sure the chinese fireball wasn't supposed to be funny.
2. Anything with my dear Viktor in it as well. What with his extreme accent and everything, I went into the most amount of giggles in this world.
3. four words..."Bambling, Bumbling, Band of Baboons!" well maybe five but close enough. I was in the fits at that moment.
4. "ah, mr. weasley, place your right hand on my waist..."
"wHERE!"
5. "Why do they have to travel in packs?"
6. "One of them was walking by, and you know I love it when I walk....and it just happened...i just asked her to the dance..."
"Actually, you kind of screamed it"
7. Viktor's fan club.
8. Everything with Voldemort. It was just so well done and breath-taking in my opinion. Fiennes is officially the best Voldemort in the world, and Dan the best Harry.
9. Anything that shows an implication that Harry is in pain. Oh well...
10. The dating service from Gred and Forge Weasley...
11. Neville seeing the Cruciatus and the aftereffects of it. He was just so good!
12. "Oh my god! I killed Harry Potter!"
13. The whole death of cedric thing at howarts and the remember Cedric speech.
14. "I never liked these curtains. Set them on fire in my fourth year...on accident of course.." I can't help but think where in the world they thought of that line. Just so random.
15. The Dark Mark looked excellent.
16. Myrtle....period.
17. grindylows looked so awesome.

the set is awsome (dont know how its spelled)
It's true the set was so well don....by the way, it is spelt as awesome.

I know, that part ROCKED. Anyway, the dragon part. Once I get the DVD, I'm going to watch that again and again and again. Aw, what the heck, I'll just watch the movie with it!

Re: Say something positive about The Goblet of Fire

I absolutely loved the movie!!!!!!!! I saw it twice and the last time I did that was when the very first Star Wars movie came out. (that was a long time ago).

I really liked the way the movie started. Unlike the rest of the movies, we knew it was not going to start with the Dursleys. I really like the suspense right off the bat. Then the excitement just built from there. I really liked the movie. By far the best so far. The next 2 movies will have a tough act to follow. Best picture of the year.

So funny. I was really glad that Mike Newell incorporated loads more of Harry lines that were very Harry. I love Harry's sense of humor so I'm glad they gave him one, FINALLY.

Re: Say something positive about The Goblet of Fire

The parts that made me grin were:

*When Harry stood there like a total pudding, grinning at Cho Chang and her friends in the courtyard, then came to his sences and walked away with Ron.

*When Harry flew back towards the egg and everyone was cheering.

*Harrys expression at the Yule Ball when Hermione shouted "Where have you been! Get to bed, booth of you!" That was priceless.. Probally the best.

*When Harry asked why they were all standing round that "manky old boot".

Idk why i laughed at thoose things, but i did!

Edit: Oooh and Ron/Harrys appology after the first task

Re: Say something positive about The Goblet of Fire

NO. Alan Rickman is the coolest.

"Gillyweed, eh? Not a common herb you can find in most potion kits. Neither is this. *gets Veritaserum* Know what it is?"
--"...bubble juice, sir?"
"Veritaserum. One drop of this and even You-Know-Who would spill his inner most secrets. The use of it on a student is... regretably forbiddenHOWEVER, should my hand just- slip- over your morning pumpkin juice-"
--"I haven't stolen anything!"
"Dont. Lie. To Me."

*shivers* Alan Rickman is just awesome.

Re: Say something positive about The Goblet of Fire

Just thought of another.

Harry: Whats up with you?
Ron: *Shakes his head and looks in pain*
Ginny: He just asked Fleur out
Hermione: *Whips round*
Harry: Well what did she say?
Hermione: No of course!
Ron: Well she was walking. You know i like it when they walk. It just slipped out.
Ginny: Actually Ron you screamed it at her.

ROFL. Everyone was just laughing at that final line in my cinema. That and the expression on his face when he sat down. I laugh at the weirdest things.

What about Barty Crouch when he said "the chinese firebolt". That "oooh" after just cracked me up :P

Re: Say something positive about The Goblet of Fire

I think this was roughly the whole thing.

*Ron, Ginny, girls enter, supporting Ron*
Ginny: It's okay, Ron. It doesn't matter.
Hermione: What's happened?
Ginny: He's just asked Fleur Delacour out!
Harry: What did she say?
Hermione: No, of course!
Ron: *shakes head, moaning with lips shut tight*
Hermione: She said "Yes"?!
Ron: Of course not! There she was walking by... and you know I like the way they walk...
Harry: *nods like "Yeah, me too"*
Ron: And before I knew it, I blurted it out.
Ginny: Actually, he sort of screamed at her. It was kind of scary.
Harry: Then what happened?
Ron: What else? I ran for it!

Re: Say something positive about The Goblet of Fire

Yeah, I was SWOOOPACIOUSLY happy about Harry's canon sense of humor! So happy that I invented the word 'SWOOOPACIOUSLY,' apparently... Fred and George are hilarious, too.

Anybody else can't help but notice that Matt Lewis (Neville) has gotten cute?
