Ginny: Mummy, have you seen my jumper?
Mrs. Weasley: Yes dear, it was on the cat.

Mrs. Weasley: There's only one place we're going to get all this...DIAGON ALLEY!!!

*lol* Definitely! He leans in, kinda whispers and looks akward, says something like, "It's not a bad place for a bath" - I never would've understood that, I would've thought he was just telling me something random, like, tea is a nice drink.... *lol*

But just thinking, how did Moody word it to Cedric when he told him? *lol*

Lol!!

I totally agree about that line and the line "There's only one place to get this...DIAGON ALLEY!"

LOL! I had forgotten about that part it does sound weird the way Cedric says that line, the people that read the book knew what it was all about but imagine the people who only watch the movies !
ome of the funniest line are not even funny on purpose it's just that they're bad or weird or something like that.

Hands down, it's Ginny: "I'm not wearing that, it's GHASTLY." The look on Bonnie's face just made it priceless.

lol, love that.

I always laugh at Snape and his "obviously" line in OotP, I've been going around the past two months quoting it whenever possible

and I like the shrunken head in PoA, anything he says, especially about clentching your bottom it's boing to be a bumpy ride and the did you hear that Earn, the Leaking Cauldron, that's in London lines

Re: Funniest lines in the films?

I love the "Obviously" line. He just oozes menace and disdain.

I really liked this conversation.

Harry: You're sure about this, Neville?

Neville: Absolutely.

Harry: For an hour?

Neville:....most likely.

Harry: Most likely?

Neville: Well, there is some debate among herbologists as to the effects of
freshwater versus seawater--

Harry: You're telling me this now?! You must be joking!

Neville: I just wanted...to help....

*A few moments later*

Neville: You seem a bit tense, Harry.

Harry: Do I? *through clenched teeth*

- Right before the second task, GOF

That one always gets me, every time.

Re: Funniest lines in the films?

several people mentioned the Sirius telling Snape to run along and play with his chemistry set, i forgot how much I loved that line

and when McGonagall comes runing up and asks Moody what he's doing and he says "teaching"

Oh yes. Good times.

Fred/George (it was one of them): Peaky? What d'you expect, fell over a hundred feet!

Other twin: Yeah, Ron. Let's drop you off the Astronomy tower and see what you look like.

From POA. That was so funny!

I love just about anything the twins do, especially in the books.

even though it's incredibly cheesy I love the scene where they give Harry the map

Re: Funniest lines in the films?

How they trade lines back and forth is awesome!

GOF stuff:

Twin 1: Try saying that five times faster. Bumbling babbling band of baboons!
...etc.

or...

Note: Get a move on or all the good ones'll have gone.

Ron: Who are you going with, then?

Fred/George: *tosses paper at Angelina* Oi, Angelina.

Angelina: What?

Fred/George: Do you want to go to the ball with me?

or....

Ron: Blimey, Harry, you faced dragons! If you can't get a date-

Harry: I'd rather take the dragon right now.

or...

Cedric: So, how are you?

Harry: Spectacular.

I love the last one simply because Harry is so stiff and sarcastic when he says it.

Re: Funniest lines in the films?

The whole scene in GoF when Ron is talking to Harry about getting dates and he looks at Hermione and goes "Well, Hermione. You're a girl." "Well spotted." And then Snape keeps hitting them in the back of the head. It is so brilliant.

Also in GoF when the champions walk into the Great Hall and Padma goes "Is that...Is that Hermione Granger...with Viktor Krum." And then Ron says "No...no, ab-absolutely not." His face and his voice is priceless in that scene.

Also the whole scene when Ron is looking in the mirror and then Harry comes in and he's like "Well your's are all right. No lace, no dodgy colar. I look like my great-aunt Tesse. I smell like my great-aunt Tesse." I love Ron.

Hermione: Is that what my hair looks like from the back?

I know some people didn't like this line being put in, but I absolutely loved it! It was hilarious, and a nice piece of light humor inserted into a rather dark movie. Also, I think of it as an homage to the Hermione of the books, who actually does have bushy hair, unlike Emma, who's always looks nice.

I just... didn't bother counting anything said by Fred and George, as I'd be listing lines all day long.

Oh, you are NOT alone. The amount of Harry/Cedric fanfiction that exploded after the GoF film is rather sizable. Some of it is quite good. (Some of it isn't.) But there are at least two livejournal groups devoted to the pairing (twoseekers and cedricxharry), a website (Bittersweet Symphony), and an archive (BSA). There was also a VERY funny good-natured spoof with screencaps called "Cedric Diggory is very, very gay" by Roz McClure on LJ. She uses screencaps and hysterical commentary to "prove" that Cedric is gay. It's not particularly offensive/graphic (maybe PG-13/teen), but just to be on the safe side, I won't link to it, merely note it.

Re: Funniest lines in the films?

Oh my god, I've killed Harry Potter!
Neville, GOF movie

Follow the spiders... why couldn't it be follow the butterflies?
Ron, COS movie

Read? I didn't know you could read.
The delivery & expression was perfect!
Malfoy, COS movie

McGonagall: ...not act like a babbling, bumbling, band of babboons!
Fred/George: Try saying that five times fast.
Other twin: Babbling, bumbling, band of babboons...
GOF movie

McGonagall: Now, Weasley, put your hand on my waist.
Ron: Where!?
GOF movie... hilarious again!

Ron: Hermione... you're a girl!
Hermione: Oh, well-spotted.
GOF movie... I love this line! Sooo funny!

Ron: Spiders... spiders... they want me to tap dance! I don't want to tap dance!
Harry: You tell those spiders, Ron.
Ron: I'll tell... I'll tell them... (snores loudly)
POA movie

Mrs. Weasley: Your sons flew that enchanted car of yours to Surrey and back last night.
Mr. Weasley: Really? How'd it go?
(Mrs. Weasley hits Mr. Weasley's arm)
Mr. Weasley: I mean, that was very wrong indeed boys, very wrong.
COS movie

Hermione: Ron wanted me to tell you that Dean told Parvati that Seamus told Dean that Hagrid's looking for you.
Harry: Well, you can tell Ron... what?
(Not as funny as the rest of them, but still funny none the less.)
GOF movie

Dumbledore's got style.
OMG perfect line!

Hermione: Breaking the rules... it's kind of exciting, isn't it?
Ron: Who are you and what have you done with Hermione Granger?
OOTP movie

Sprout: Longbottom's been neglecting his earmuffs.
Seamus: No ma'am, he's just fainted.
Sprout: Oh, well. Just leave him there.
COS movie

Ron: Oh, that would be a cheerful visit. Hello Hagrid, have you set anything mad and hairy loose in the castle lately?
Hagrid (appears from behind): Mad and hairy? You wouldn't be talking about me, now, would ya?
SS movie

Just because you have the emotional range of a teaspoon doesn't mean we all have.
Hermione, OOTP movie

Now I'm going to bed before either of you come up with any more ideas to get us killed... or worse, expelled.
Expelled is worse? Lol, I guess it is for Hermione.
SS movie

Harry (to Ron): How could anyone possibly figure that out? It's completely mental!
Hermione: Boys...
GOF movie

Cedric: How are you?
Harry: Spectacular.
GOF movie

Stan: What choo fell over for?
Harry: I didn't do it on purpose.
Stan: Come on then... let's not wait for the grass to grow...
Absolutely love this part! It's sooo funny!
POA movie

Weasley twin (Fred/George): What do you expect, he fell over a hundred feet!
Other twin: Yeah, Ron, let's push you off the Astronomy tower, see what you look like.
POA movie

Oh yeah, and the whole Cedric thing someone was talking about...
Cedric: You know the Prefect's bathroom on the 5th floor?
Harry: Yea?
Cedric (leans akwardly close to Harry): It's not a bad place for a bath.
Lol OMG that sounds completely messed up!
GOF movie

Obviously...
Snape - the way he says that is so funny!

Is that really what my hair looks like from the back?
Hermione, POA movie

Ginny: I think you're in love, Ron.
Fred & George & Harry: Viktor, I love you, Viktor, I do... when we're apart my heart beats only for you...
GOF movie

I'm just going to stop now. But all these quotes are simply HILARIOUS!

-xx-

That entire movie was like an advertisement for H/Ced fanfiction. It makes me laugh every time I see it.

And Robert Pattison wore leather pants to the London premiere.
