Re: Have you ever got really angry/offended at a book?

Today I found a Bartimaeus Trilogy Thread, and I remembered how i felt when I read the end of the last book, Ptolemy's Gate. I almost tore the whole book apart, page for page, but I had just enough self-controll to slam the book shut, clear some space for it in the book shelf (good days back then, having more space in my book shelf), and sit glaring angrily at it for some minutes. The trilogy is really good, and is well worth a read, but for me that wasn't the right end. I seriously considered writing a letter to Jonathan Stroud with my complaints, and an end I would be satisfied with. Yes, that's me, everything must be as I like it...
